"Don't Lose Hope"

music & lyrics by Jacques Bobrowsky

I wrote "Don't lose hope" in an effort to inspire people to move in a positive direction when they feel all is lost. It was written right after the 9-11 tragedy.

performed by:

Joe Angelori - vocals, bass

Jacques Bobrowsky - piano

Frank Piccininni - guitar

Larry Rosky - Drums

recorded at The Loft Recording Studio (Bronxville, New York)

Walking down the street I see the

Children playing all day long

Remember all those feelings

Years ago

All the dreams you use to have

Seem gone with yesterday

Yet all the dreams you use to have

Are deep within your soul

Look at all the stars tonight

Look beyond the Moon

Look into your heart tonight

And I will be there soon

In this world of hate and war

The past will guide you through

Don’t lose hope don’t lose your faith

Your dreams they can come true

In your heart you’ll find your soul

Remember not to lose control

Listen to your heart when it

Reminds you of the past

When you go to sleep at night

Be thankful for the dreams you have

Remember all your dreams

From years ago

Look at all the stars tonight

Look beyond the Moon

Look into your heart tonight

And I will be there soon

In this world of hate and war

The past will guide you through

Don’t lose hope don’t lose your faith

Your dreams they will come true
