Dear Judge Lester,

Please allow me to introduce the undersigned as an advocate for children’s rights. Crimes against children occur far too often in our country. The scars left on children never go away. The only way to change statistics and protect our children is to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions. This is one sure to protect the future of our children in the United States of America. There is no worse crime than one committed against a child. In regards to the sentencing hearing scheduled for December 2, 2002, we are asking you to please give the maximum sentence allowed within the guidelines for his crime. There is no place in society for pedophiles.
